Murray in Regina

He was the man with the orange-yellow bass and we were the Curious George monkeys who went to see him. The important thing is that murraythebastard.com was there. (or is the important thing that he ditched us?)

We drove about 2700 km in just over 30 hours to see Murray perform and he did not even say hello. Sure, you might think it is normal that fans can't meet their idols but he knew we were coming, had promised to buy us beer and then ignored us after the show.

If you make it, it'll be the stuff of legends. Not since the two lost dogs and the cat from Incredible Journey made it all the way home has there been such drama.

Murray honoured this "stuff of legends" by leaving within minutes after the show to perform at Barrie's Live8 festival.
